Journal Entry 02: The Foundling Bunches | Florist in Liverpool City Center

The studio is quiet this morning, smelling of cut stems and damp moss.

We spent the last week in a fever of practice, hands stained green as we refined the "Secret Soul" aesthetic. It was a week of trial, error, and intense creativity. By Monday morning, we were left with a collection of blooms that had reached their peak—stems that only had a day or two of life left in them, but were still vibrating with beauty.

As an independent florist in Liverpool city center, the idea of throwing away something so soulful felt wrong. Our zero-waste philosophy isn't just a policy; it's a respect for the life cycle of the flower.

So, we decided to set them free.

We took these "practice" arrangements and tucked them into the quiet corners of the Georgian Quarter. We left them on sun-warmed doorsteps, stone ledges, and near the iron railings of our favorite streets for our neighbors to find.

There is something so magical about a "found" object. To happen upon a bunch of flowers on your morning walk is a reminder of the Art of Noticing. It’s an invitation to slow down, even if just for a second, and appreciate a beauty that is fleeting.

If you found one of our wandering bunches today, we hope it brought a bit of the wild into your home for its final days.

The worktop is clear now, and the lunar charts are being prepped. We are counting down the days until our official Saturday ritual begins.

Until then, keep your eyes open. The Georgian Quarter is full of secrets.

With love,

Xx
