People often ask us why we chose flowers.

As artists living and working in the Georgian Quarter, we have always been obsessed with the Art of Noticing. We spend our days watching the way light hits the red brick of the city or how the shadows stretch across the cobbles. But we noticed something missing in the rush of the Liverpool city centre hustle a sense of ritual.

We didn't set up Falkner Flowers to be just another shop. We wanted to create a bridge between the celestial and the everyday.

The concept was born from a desire to connect. As artists, we see each bunch as a living sculpture, not a mass-produced product. We wanted to move away from the plastic-wrapped, soulless bouquets of the high street and return to something raw, intuitive, and deeply personal.

Why the Saturday Ritual?

We chose to limit ourselves to 20 "Secret Soul" bunches for a reason. In a world of "more," we wanted to offer "less, but better." By operating as a zero-waste florist in Liverpool city centre, we ensure that every single stem we source has a purpose. We aren't interested in leftovers; we are interested in the fleeting magic of a Saturday morning.

Guided by the Stars

Bringing the lunar cycle into our work was the final piece of the puzzle. It grounds us. It reminds us that we are part of a larger rhythm. Every Saturday, when we create your bunches, we aren't just looking at the market. We are looking at the moon.

Falkner Flowers is our love letter to the Georgian Quarter. It’s for the dreamers, the mindful urbanites, and those who find beauty in a single, wilting petal.

We’re so glad you’ve found us.

With Love

Xx
